This hotel is almost at the beach, near a little beuatiful harbour with some fine restaurants. Beach is very nice, no sand but rocks. The only thing is, we were with a family of three. We had a good time anyway.
On the recommendation of a friend who visited before we stayed at this resort in Vico Equense. We had apts 13 and 14 in our group. A little walk from the main reception, but it was worth it as the apts were right on sea shore and you could constantly hear the waves from the rooms. Apt 14 even had a roof top terrace with fantastic view of Mt. Vesuvius and the entire Gulf of Naples. The apartment had a fully operational kitchen with utensils, plates, silverware and also an oven. It has a dining area and a washing machine too. This made it very convenient to make our own breakfast and we also cooked one meal each day. The staff and especially the reception staff and especially Anna was very helpful to us. She helped us arrange our rental van to take the beautiful drive along the coast which was delivered and also picked up at the resort itself. They also suggested local restaurants to try out. As Resort is on the beach and the town and closest metro station is on a high cliff, the resort provides free drop and pickup to Vico Equense whenever requested.
My god awesome view from 13th villa for 4 people. Friends worth every cent paid. From room i have a private terrace over looking the sea. Breath taking view. Staff one of the best i have come across friendly , courteous , helpful and moreover speak english fluently. Reception area staff excellent. One place really to visit during weekdays. We have a running kitchen . They offered to cook vegetarian jain food but so far we have declined but i think they would surprise me with food also. Overall excellent experience. Would recommend it on weekdays as i feel weekends would be really crowded.
Unico nel suo genere ed ideale per la posizione con una vista mozzafiato sul vesuvio, le axidie consentono il relax e la presenza in una delle più belle coste del mondo. Se si vuole il riposo basta attraversare il tunnel che congiunge il piccolo affascinante borgo di Seiano all'ex cava trasforamta negli anni in giardino e luogo di riposo con il mare della costiera e con la vista del Golfo. Se si vuole pochi km e si arrvia a Sorrento. Da frequentare con assiduità.
This is truly an excellent resort. We stayed in a Self catering apartment. It was brand new and very nice, Insect screens on doors and windows and aircon in all areas. No views though and is located beside a car park. The triple-glazing and screening meant that our privacy was not affected. Near the Hotel there are loads of things to do and places to eat. Ideally you would want your own transport, but there is a collect and drop of service to local train station and town of Vico Equense. All the staff are good but Anna in reception if worthy of special mention. Thanks Anna.
Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per due notti con la mia numerosa famiglia in un appartamento, godendo di una splendida vista sul Vesuvio e sul mare. Per quanto riguarda la camera era pulita, l'arredamento forse non proprio moderno, con cucina attrezzata. Ci siamo trovati bene.
Betreuung war hervorragend (und durch Anna an der Rezeption sogar herzlich). Wir hatten Halbpension mit jeweils 4 Gängen zur Auswahl für die Vor- und Hauptspeise. Frühstücksbuffet auch sehr vielfältig mit tollem Blick von der Dachterrasse aus. Sicherses Schwimmen im Meer möglich, ein Pool am Meer, ein riesiger "Sitzpool" zum Abkühlen im höhergelegenen Hotel-Gelände, in dem es viel zu entdecken gab. Viele Ecken, an denen man sich auf Stühlen zurückziehen kann. Anfang Oktober war es schön leer, viel Platz überall, Zimmer waren sauber aber einfach eingerichtet (im Nebenkomplex). Rechnet man das Essen weg, bleibt ein unglaublich günstiger Übernachtungspreis. Jederzeit Shuttle nach Vico möglich, es gibt auch einen steilen Fußweg hinter dem Turm dort hinauf. In Vico eine Tourist-Info und Haltestelle für die Circumvesuviana, die aber nicht zu jeder Zeit an allen angegebenen Bahnhöfen hält (in Vico Equense aber immer). Wir kommen wieder, aber vorsichtshalber immer nur in der Nebensaision. Ha soggiornato in Ottobre 2015
Awesome location! Had been waiting for 2 years to, finally, get accommodation, as it was always fully booked. And with good reason. Location is awesome. The mighty Vesuvio stands right opposite. As the Italian canzonetta goes: “Sta 'nfronte a te!” Moreover, since there’s, daily, a shuttle boat leaving for the most interesting locations, it’s a great base from where to start visits to Sorrento, Amalfi, Capri, etc. Thus avoiding the intricate hustle and bustle of trips by buses & trains. I stay in the apart-hotel Casa Rossa, located amid vineyards & lemon orchards. Perfect silent beauty. The staff is extraordinary. The waiters – congratulations to Cristian, who, practically, became my private chef & sommelier – he knew precisely what wine goes with my dinner dish. And, especially, big thanks to Anna, the Head Receptionist, who bends over backwards to satisfy all requests.
